This short video is unbelievably amazing for anyone who hasn’t ridden a motorcycle and wants to know what it feels like. It is filed by director Henrik Hansen and his team in 2010. Love the audio and filming of this. Hope to see more!
I’ve just recently discovered the talents of and succumbed to the wit of this filmmaker Ian Gamester, a former freelancer for the BBC. Although the selection of short films on his site are somewhat limited, I cannot recommend more taking time out to watch the Cream/Egg production- the first in a series of vignettes following the characters of Shaun and Chrissy, so expect more of this. Hilarious!
The Visual language of Herbert Matter is a new documentary by Reto Caduff that will be premiering this summer. I think it’s great how more films are being created about designers.
I’m a glutton for sponging up new sounds, especially when they come as intriguingly packaged as ‘Citizens of Tomorrow’ by the Tokyo Police Club (check it out). Feeling somewhat disconnected with the pioneering art of the music video, this comes well appreciated.
